Every man/woman is a source of light. He may be a diya or a candle or a LED.
But depending on where this diya is, men can be classified into two : a diya in sunlight and a diya in darkness. Since man is dynamic he stays where he loves to be. So a diya in darkness is a man who likes darkness. His basic objective to stay in darkness is to remove it. He has the capacity to take in darkness and always seeks darkness so that he can nullify it.
Whereas a diya in sunlight is covered by light already. Such persons dont like darkness but are at their best when the darkness is gone. They guide other men when darkness is gone. They are poor at fighting darkness but are better when light is all around.
None is better than the other. Both are important in a civilization at different points of time.
